Vilcabamba Glimpse #22

River Properties

Vilcabamba Glimpse #21, "A River Runs Through It", provided some information about and views of the Vilcabamba River that runs adjacent to the ranch, Hacienda San Joaquin.

This Glimpse provides you with views of a few properties that are on the river.

The attached photos were taken in the vicinity of properties Q18, Q19 and Q20.

The "Q", incidentally stands for quinta. A Quinta, larger than a Lot, is about two or more acres (or about a hectare or more). In Ecuador a Quinta is synonymous with "country estate".

Property L19, shown in photo 4648, has a small bamboo forest on the river. We have other properties with bamboo forests as well.

Each property of the 56 we have at the ranch is unique. No two are identical. Almost all are very private as a result of location and/or size.
