Canyon Properties

You have not received a Glimpse from me for some time because I have been too busy to write! Sorry. We have nearly 300 Ecuadorians now working on numerous construction projects. These include our almost completed new Administration Building (photos soon), our new Mountain View Properties (this Glimpse), our new mountainside Sunrise Hotel, Cabanas and home sites (more on this shortly), about a dozen private residences, and infrastructure (roads, lights, electric, water, internet) for our new Mountain View and Sunrise areas...and more.

The attached photos show views from our Mountain View Properties. These are wonderful home sites with spectacular views. There are nine of these properties (one has already been sold). So, eight remain.

The Mountain View Properties range in size from 1.6 acres to 3.4 acres, and in price from $135,000 to $175,000. The properties include typically an ample building platform and the wooded mountainside behind it extended to the natural limit (the ridge), and the hillside in front of it.

These properties face south. The sun rises from your left as you look at these photos and tracks from left to right (west). As we are close to the equator (from which Ecuador draws its name), the track of the sun varies only 15 nearly imperceptible degrees. Most of the time it is directly above us as it travels from east to west. Incidentally, there is no daylight savings time here. Nightfall is about 6:30 - 6:45 P.M year around.
