Vilcabamba Glimpse #33

Stone Walls Along the Roads

More Roadside Stone Walls

In Vilcabamba Glimpse #29, "Stone Walls (Muros)", I wrote about some of the roadside stone walls we are building on the ranch. Glimpse #33 focuses on a muro we completed last week. This wall, almost the length of two football fields, 170 meters (186 yards), located at the highest point on the road (notice the Vilcabamba River far below), took us about four weeks to build.

We are currently building beautiful and extensive roadside stone walls in three other areas simultaneously. We will also build one around our park on the Vilcabamba River. Concurrently, we are very engaged in the ongoing construction of Stable #2 at the Equestrian and Hiking Center. It should be completed in about four weeks. It will have sixteen stalls as compared to the 24 stalls in Stable #1. Shortly, I will write a Glimpse on the Equestrian and Hiking Center that houses both stables and much more.

Interest in the property continues to accelerate. Today, we had people from Germany, the United States and Ecuador looking at properties. An international community is forming.
